In writing this book I will pass on to you the best of what knowledge I have gained by the ability which God has given me in taking 100's of bobcats as well as 100's of coyotes and fox, as a professional trapper and in private predator control work.
The system and set methods for taking bobcat contained in this book are the results of many years on the trap line. By taking advantage of all the habits and traits of the cat family known to me, I have by trial and error come through with sets that have proven to produce cats in numbers. I don't want to leave the idea that I know everything about cats, as I don't.
Having raised a few bobcat kittens from approximately 3 weeks old when I found them to over 4 years old has given me a better understanding of cats. They are not so different than a regular house cat.
But I know enough that if my system of cat trapping is followed precisely you will be able to take your share of those spotted cats.
