Like all of Kimber’s premium 1911 handguns, the Rapide Scorpius comes fully equipped with a wide assortment of performance enhancing features. The sights are composed of Tru-Glo’s TFX Pro Day/Night sights with a high contrast orange front ring, promoting fast and intuitive target acquisition even in low light environments. Like many of Kimber’s 1911 handguns, the Rapide Scorpius features a match-grade barrel, but also features a DLC – not only does this give the handgun a distinct, striking appearance, but also enhances both performance and durability. To ensure optimal control over the weapon, the Rapide Scorpius is outfitted with aggressively textured G10 grips, and the frame’s Stiplex front strap texture and high undercut trigger guard provide excellent grip purchase. In addition, the Rapide Scorpius’s slide features lightening cuts for faster lockup, and an ambidextrous thumb safety accommodates both left and right handed shooters.

When you purchase a firearm, you are responsible to know your laws. You must be at least 18 to purchase a long gun, and 21 to purchase a handgun. Federal law requires the firearm to be shipped to an FFL dealer. Check with your FFL dealer for any additional fees they may charge to transfer the firearm to you and to make sure the firearm is legal for you to possess.

When placing your order use YOUR information for the billing address, and your FFL dealer for the shipping address. We will need a copy of your dealers FFL faxed or emailed to us before the firearm will leave our facility. Your FFL dealer will do all the transfer paperwork.

Please make sure a copy of the FFL is sent to us as soon as possible to ensure your order is processed in a timely manner. We will hold orders for 5 days, and then the order will be cancelled if we have not received a copy of the FFL.
