Body Grip Trap Safety Gripper

A body grip safety is designed to safely holds the jaws of a body grip trap to prevent injury if trap misfires.

Compress the springs of the trap, set the trap, and place the body grip safety across the jaws, leave in place until you have your trap is set in place.

Once the body grip trap is set how you want, you can remove the safety.

	Does not fit all body traps

I bought 3 Sauvageau 160 body traps and since this is one of the only safety grippers sold on this website, I thought it would fit. I was wrong, this safety is too small to even reach across the 160 trap when it is set. This may work for Duke traps, but Not Sauvageau brand body traps.

This conibear safety does a good job at what it is meant to do. Spring hold the jaws on securely and is simple enough to survive the trap line. I painted mine orange and wired on a carabineer as to not loose it as easily. Glad to see its made in the U.S.
