Bridger #3 Coil Spring Offset Trap

This trap is the best #3 being built today.

The #3 is very well balanced to come straight up and out of the trap bed.

A well balanced trap is so very important.

This trap has:
- thick heavy jaws
- 6 1/2" jaw spread
- Offset Jaws - adjustable oblong pan
- high levers
- baseplate with D ring, and center swiveled
- 12" chain with 4-way swivel on end of 4 mm. straight link chain.

Comes with a long spring pin for easy four-coiling, also gives trap more balance when set.

Offset jaws have a slight gap in the jaws. This allows the spring levers to close further when the animal is caught to create more holding power.

This trap is excellent for bobcat, coyote, beaver and otter.

4-coiled this trap makes an excellent beaver trap.

Our Coilspring Trap Setter (CSSETTER) would be a handy tool to have when setting this trap.

Proper trap setting is part of the art of trapping. These are excellent traps. I have ran these for 10+- Years. caught coyotes, fox, raccoon, rabbit, rock chuck, pack rats, neighbors dogs, and cats and lizards, and probably more ?????? Ran them till they were rusted past usable, rebuilt and reset them, they are still in the field. Just file the sear to fit your target, apply some silicone lube and keep your fingers clear.

I started using bridgers last year and I will be using them for a long time! I bought the #3 offset and it was awesome out of the box. I night latched it and the pan needed very little leveling. This trap is solid and should do a good number on my coyote line this fall. I will be buying more of the #3 offsets!

	Holds Well

This trap is very efficient. It holds bobcats just above the pad and its very dependable. The only problem I had was the placement of the D-ring. If you put your trap in its bed the D-ring can stick up to far and keep your pan from going down to spring the trap. I have missed a couple of critters by that happening.
