I actually purchased a dozen of these snares at least a year ago. I originally purchased them for hogs but ended up not using them until recently. My Mother-in-law lives by a pond and was having a lot of issues with a problem beaver. I couldnt get them to come near conibear traps no matter how they were set. I pulled out the snares and two days later I caught the problem beaver he was 48 pounds. word spread and I am turning into the local beaver solution thanks to your snares.

I ordered a dozen of these snares last week. Yesterday I snared a 275 lb. boar. Worked great and got the job done.

I have used this snare for over a year snaring wild hogs in North Central Texas. Very strong construction. Once the cam lock is engaged there is no escape. I have snared several large 200lb + hogs and the cable diameter holds up just fine.
