Cut Cable Length: 48 inches

The thinner 1/16" cable works great for the keen eye of the bobcat.

Deer Stop: A standard deer stop makes a 2 ½" diameter loop. The deer stop allows a leg caught deer to pull its leg back through the snare, and allows you to re-set the snare. Check your state's regulations when it comes to deer stops, some states require them, some don't, and some have specific diameters the deer stop must be set at. This is also a live catch stop for fox.

Quick Tie Off Combo End: lets you anchor the snare to a tree or stake without needing wire.

This is my fourth or so dozen of these snares that I have bought over the last few years. I use them on groundhogs exclusively and they are indestructible. Some of the nastiest and fattest groundhogs I have encountered I have pulled out from under sheds by hooking the tine on a rake to the cable and pulling them into the open so I can dispatch them. I always expected something to fail but that has never happened. They are the best made snares I have found and I have tried quite a few. Quality components throughout, with all cable neatly cut and trimmed and ferrules straight, and neatly closed. The snares are pre-loaded in the loop area with a quick, snappy closing action that is absolutely perfect. You cant find a better snare.

	Small game & bobcat snares are feeding my family

I was attempting to make my own snares with the materials I had around...with little success. Without exaggeration, these snares have changed our lives by putting a lot more food on our table. We largely rely on wild game and foraging for much of our food supply. So when you go from 1 rabbit a week, to 15 rabbits a week, life is pretty good and a great review is in order. These snares are incredibly easy to setup and are so effective, the first one I installed accidentally caught our dog within five minutes fortunately he was not hurt, and he knows not to mess with them now. But the same cannot be said about the rabbits...they continue to snare themselves every night, and I am beyond delighted to find 3-5 of them every morning. I am using the pound method and installing a snare in the front and rear of the pound. This morning I found two rabbits snared inside of the pound. I really cannot say enough good things about this product. In fact, I just ordered another package of them last night, so its game on up here on the mountain. A very big thank you to the Snare Shop for creating and delivering such an effective product. Looking forward to trying out some other ones as well.

I had a problem with opossums getting into my chicken run. Most strategies produced marginal results and the night raids seemed to increase in frequency. I bought the small game snares and they arrived within the work week. Having no prior experience with snares, I gathered some info from the Web site and then rigged the run with snares at every possum point of entry. Within a week I had snared a possum. He is no longer a problem. Thank you snare shop!
