Tasked with a special mission, the Emissary bridges defensive and custom pistols delivering a bold and capable addition to the Springfield Armory family of 1911's. Built on a durable foundation of forged steel in its barrel, slide and frame, the Emissary offers a defensive pistol with an air of custom refinement. The pistol has a beautiful two-tone finish, with a blued carbon steel slide and a stainless-steel frame with squared trigger guard. A "Tri-Top" cut to the slide gives the pistol custom-grade styling, while a heavy-profile bull barrel delivers maximum accuracy and reduces felt recoil. It utilizes Springfield Armory's U-Dot sights which are ideal for defensive situations offering fast and intuitive acquisition while providing a tritium/luminescent front sight for low light conditions. The Emissary is fully wrapped in a grenade pattern texture for firm engagement in adverse conditions. The slim line VZ Grips are machined from G10 while the mainspring housing and front strap are machined to match.

When you purchase a firearm, you are responsible to know your laws. You must be at least 18 to purchase a long gun, and 21 to purchase a handgun. Federal law requires the firearm to be shipped to an FFL dealer. Check with your FFL dealer for any additional fees they may charge to transfer the firearm to you and to make sure the firearm is legal for you to possess.

When placing your order use YOUR information for the billing address, and your FFL dealer for the shipping address. We will need a copy of your dealers FFL faxed or emailed to us before the firearm will leave our facility. Your FFL dealer will do all the transfer paperwork.

Please make sure a copy of the FFL is sent to us as soon as possible to ensure your order is processed in a timely manner. We will hold orders for 5 days, and then the order will be cancelled if we hav e not received a copy of the FFL.
