This is my first body trap, but watching videos of other brands, this 160 Sauvageau trap closes completely with no gaps like other brands. Because it has a dual bar on one side, it is difficult to engage the RTS trap setter but do able. I havent caught my prey yet, still learning, but this trap is VERY strong, and I have to use the RTS to squeeze the bars together just to get the trap latched even with the 2 springs compressed with their safeties still engaged. While I liked that the trap is dyed, I didnt like that trying to set the trigger latch, it seemed like the dye was not fully cured, almost still tacky. But this is my first ever body trap, maybe that is normal.
